Our client located in Markham, ON, is currently looking for a Receptionist to join their busy team! This is a full time, ongoing temporary position with the working hours being 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. The client is accessible by York Region Transit or if you drive there is free parking on site.

Key Responsibilities for the Receptionist job opening in Markham, ON may include the following:


*Meet and greet all levels of clientele in a professional manner

*Answer and redirect a high volume of calls that can come in spurts

*Maintain and update visitor log regarding guests in and out

*Schedule meeting rooms primarily in MS Outlook

*Escort executives to meeting areas, some hostess responsibilities could also be a part of this

*Any other administrative or clerical tasks when required

Some of the required qualifications for the Receptionist job opening in Markham, ON include


*At least 6+ months experience in a front desk reception role (ideally from a corporate office but flexible depending on the fit)

*Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral along with the confidence and ability to interact with all levels of clients; bilingual (french) would be an asset but not required
