Roevin Engineering and Technical currently has an Administrative Assistant/Reception site role for our client in Northern Alberta.
The Administrative Assistant will respond to requests and inquiries from internal and external sources while developing and maintaining excellent relations with all internal and external personnel at all levels. This is a six month contract - flights and accommodation will be provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between departments and operating units in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational activities.

Greet all visitors and direct to appropriate personnel
Monitor scheduling for the conference rooms
Order and track Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Monitor radios and other equipment usage through tracking system
Record and maintain minutes from team meetings
Answer telephone inquiries
Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
Complete daily and monthly reports
Sort incoming mail and faxes for distribution
Maintain Site Man Hours daily
Transport personnel as required
Maintain the cleanliness of the offices and lunchrooms
Maintain an adequate inventory of office and lunchroom supplies
Coordinate and set up events, activities and special lunches
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information


Qualifications:

Business Administration Diploma or relevant experience will be considered
2 years experience, with at least 1 year working directly with Operations, within in the oil and gas sector.
H2S Certificate


Skills and Knowledge:

Skilled at building and maintaining productive, professional working relationships
Knowledge and understanding of project records, documents and procedures.
Must possess excellent priority management, and organizational skills.
Ability to be flexible and work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter who takes the initiative with a high degree of energy
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to develop and populate excel spreadsheets
Ability to manage a number of conflicting priorities

Bona Fide Occupational Requirements:
