A Parts & Service Associate job is currently available in Toronto, Ontario. The selected candidate will, ideally have a Post-secondary education and 2 years in experience in parts and inside sales. This is a great opportunity for to work for a reputable company in Toronto. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities of the Parts & Service Associate include:
Through excellent customer service and sales skills, the Parts and Service Associate must be able to deliver a superior brand experience while maximizing potential revenues by servicing customers. Reporting to the Parts & Service Manager, you will work closely with your manager along with the Sales Representatives.


Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner
Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing for both internal and external customers
Ensure parts return policies are implemented properly and advise customers of such policies at point of sale
Process COD, cash sale transactions and parts credits as required
Assist in the maintenance of parts physical and electronic inventories
Review and respond to daily parts reports
Actively promote the benefits of Parts Store within our customer base
Ensure customer's needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner


Build and maintain a high level of competency with hydraulics, electronics and electrical systems applied to truck bodies and equipment
Schedule work in the repair bay areas
Communicate timelines with customer and keep them informed with regards to the status of the repairs
Provide regular feedback for continuous improvements



Qualifications of the Parts & Service Associate:


Post-secondary education
2+ years’ experience in parts sales/inside sales
Technical/mechanical aptitude and/or licensed background in heavy equipment/on-highway truck equipment
Customer centric with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building capacity
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter, independent and a team player with a sense of urgency
Computer and systems literate with proficiencies with Excel and Word
