Adecco is currently hiring Sales Representatives for our client in Whitby, ON. To qualify for the Sales Representative position you must have previous outbound sales experience and the right attitude. This person will be responsible for executing initial and follow up contacts with the clients, closing sales and obtaining signed contracts from customers. This person will interact with senior operations personnel of our target customer base in a well-defined market vertical, be responsible for overcoming objections and customer inertia. Our client has qualified leads for prospecting and you make contact to generate interest in the service. Our client has a proven track record of providing a valuable service to our customers that is well received and appreciated. Our client is a young, entrepreneurial business selling professional services to businesses across North America. They seek a highly motivated, self-starters and results oriented to join our inside sales team.

Sales Representative Core Responsibilities:
-Meet performance targets as set by the company in line with the sales strategy and overall business strategy.
-Contact qualified prospects via telephone and make presentations clearly, explaining the benefits of our service offerings.
-Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
-Execute all stages of the sales cycle including initial and follow up contacts with the clients, to closing the sale.
-Follow up incoming sales inquiries, and undertake necessary steps to achieve the sale.
-Undertake necessary administrative tasks, including documenting sales contacts, reporting sales activities and communicating feedback from prospects.

Sales Representative Core Competencies:
-Positive, enthusiastic attitude towards telephone selling with the ability and motivation to make 40+ outbound calls per day.
-Well-honed probing, qualifying and closing skills are required for account prospecting and obtaining signed agreements.
-Good listening skills with the ability to overcome customer objections.
-Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak to executive level decision makers and engage in email correspondence.
-Multi-tasking ability and strong time management skills.
-Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent customer service skills¿ and the ability to solve problems over the phone.
-Forward-thinker, with the ability to anticipate and take the necessary steps to minimize future obstacles.

Sales Representative Qualifications:
-Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in telephone-based sales.
-Proven track record of sales success in a commission-based, quota-driven environment is preferred.
-A flair for marketing is a definite asset.
-Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft Excel & Outlook is an asset.
