Adecco is currently hiring for a Sales Manager in the GTA. In order to be considered for this position the successful candidate needs to have at least six years of Business Development and account management experience in consumer packaged goods dealing with senior channel and brand marketing clients specifically appliances and at least two years developing and managing sales teams.

Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of both small and large appliances in the world and is looking to expand their team to continually provide value added service to existing and new prospects across the Canada. Our client who is located primarily in China and distributes and manufacturers in across the globe and employs over 25 000 people worldwide is looking at developing a strong presence in Canada.

They have manufactured for many other large retailers and are now coming to the market under their own name which requires to sales person to build the brand from scratch. They provide an environment which prides themselves on a good work life balance and continual education and training to their employees.

The compensation package is base salary plus a commission structure, 3 weeks of vacation, continuing education, full benefits and tremendous room for growth within the organization.

Sales Manager Job Description

Generate referrals from existing business through relationship building and professional representation of company and their services
Strategically forecast and report on sales cycle and account plans to assist management with planning
Effectively build relationships with category managers in national accounts, key accounts and distribution channels to bring the product list to their consumers
Show strong stakeholder management skills by ascertaining clients needs, addressing all client issues and assist with sourcing solutions for all parties
Coordinate with operations team to provide assistance to clients for both existing and newly implemented systems

Sales Manager Mandatory Qualifications:

Exposure to working with various levels of customers both internal and external specifically in consumer packaged goods selling into retail distribution networks
Defined knowledge of managing and developed sales teams
Strong knowledge of developing a book of business from existing clientele specifically working with channel and brand marketing teams within client base
College or University Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business
Strong analysis, stakeholder management and detail oriented experience
Excellent Communication skills – oral, presentation and written as will be interacting with senior level executives, brokers and dealer networks
Superior organization and time management skills
Exceptional computer skills including working with CRM’s and MIS Systems
