Adecco is currently recruiting for a Territory Sales Representative. Due to extensive overnight travel, the incumbent may be located either in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba, key territories that this role covers. With growth the territory could evolve to include the northern US states as well as BC lower mainland. This is a full time permanent job and our client is looking for an on-the-road experienced sales person with sales experience preferred in steel manufacturing or related products, heavy truck or equipment, oil & gas (product or service sector) and / or waste and recycling industries.

Working closely with towns, municipalities as well as both small and large businesses, the Territory Sales Representative will work to address client needs and enhance service levels. Our client is eager to hire an entrepreneurial driven individual and this role comes with an attractive compensation package which includes a salary and commission structure and a company vehicle.

Responsibilities of this Territory Sales Representative job include:
- Customer service, retention and territory development (AB, SK and MB initially).
- Growing the territory base primarily through cold calling potential clients, setting up meeting and delivering sales presentations.
- Travel extensively across western Canada (up to 90% of time, overnights to be expected)
- Collaborate with operations and administrative staff based out of the main office in Saskatchewan.

Qualifications:
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Western Provinces. Please be advised that extensive travel (initially 3 weeks per month with overnights required) will be a key part o this role.
- Extensive proven territory development experience required; minimum 3 years of on-the-roadmarketing.
-Proven ability to develop and enhance large contracts with companies as well as develop relationships with smaller entities
- Superior presentation, organization and time management skills
- Valid Drivers license with a clean abstract (a company vehicle is provided)
