Adecco is currently hiring for a Manager, New Sales Canada in downtown Toronto. In order to be considered for this position the successful candidate needs to have at least ten years of sales experience in either the financial services, risk or multi media industries as well as over 7 years of team management specifically developing a team from the ground up.

Our client is the largest mass media and information firm in the world and is looking to expand their team to continually provide value added consulting to the information industry. The compensation package is base salary plus a bonus structure, 3 weeks vacation, continuing education, RRSP matching, full benefits and tremendous room for growth within the organization.

Manager, New Sales Canada Job Description

Assess and develop strategic plans including staffing, platforms, communication, sales campaigns and people management
Responsible for continual recruiting processes, developing team from ground up and mentoring of new staff members
Facilitate and collaborate with a team of client specialists, service and delivery teams, account managers and admin support team
Enable the growth of the team through mentoring and development to think “outside of the box” in developing new plans to grow the business
Collaboratively interact with various levels of management to assist with leading team through continual effective communication
Ensure team success through working with team members to achieve revenue goals, campaign objectives and forecasts
Show strong stakeholder management skills by ascertaining clients needs, addressing all client issues and assist with sourcing solutions for all parties
Continually develop reporting structures for monthly recaps and reviews

Manager, New Sales Canada Mandatory Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of financial services specifically in market and industry insights, Global Financial Markets and proprietary products provided by company
Must have at least 10 years of sales management roles – specifically managing teams of various seniorities and developing team from inception
Experience in developing strategic plans for team – mentoring staff through their plans and their role to set them up for success
University Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business
Exposure to working with various levels of customers both internal and external specifically in a networking capacity to keep relationships fresh and robust
Strong analysis and stakeholder management experience
Excellent Communication skills – oral, presentation and written as will be interacting with all types of end users
Superior organization and time management skills
Exceptional computer skills including working with CRM’s and MIS Systems
