Intermediate WebUI Developer position, Saint John, New Brunswick

Adecco is currently looking for a Web UI Developer for a permanent position in Saint John, New Brunswick. This intermediate level Web UI Developer position requires experience with Angular2, HTML 5, and Mobile UI development.

The Web UI Developer will be working as part of an Agile team to analyze, design, develop, test, document, and implement software applications. The UI developer will leverage knowledge in frameworks to design and develop softwares, while working with senior developers and technical leads to deliver energy savings to our client's customers.

Web UI Developer Role Responsibilities:
The UI developer will participate in the development of new industry-leading products, write readable, maintainable, testable and efficient code, and provide technical guidance in the design and development activities for front-end development.
The UI Developer will also enhance the performance and reliability of current web-based applications and collaborate with developer team members on best practices, code reviews, internal tools and process improvements.
Education and Experience:

*Bachelor?s Degree; preferably Computer Science; or equivalent experience

*Demonstrated understanding of modern frameworks, web technologies and design patterns (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, REST, JSON, XML etc.)

*Demonstrated competency in Angular2, HTML5, Javascript and CSS

*Strong understanding of version control systems

*An understanding of data structures and software design

*Knowledge of cross-browser development techniques

*Experience with application servers (tomcat, glassfish etc)

*Experience with Maven build tools

*Understanding of CI/CD using Jenkins


*Experience with Java

*Experience working with various databases (Relational, NoSQL etc.)

*Experience with unit testing frameworks
