Adecco is currently hiring for a six-month contract Technical Writer job in Calgary, AB. To be considered for this position you must have at least five years of experience in technical writing of IT focused documentation. The compensation for this position is competitive, and is open to independent contractors.

Technical Writer Job Requirements:

Document technical design specs such as servers and networking infrastructure
Develop, write, and edit operational manuals and procedures
Work with the IT Operations department to obtain understanding of technical products and requirements
Produce tutorials focused on end-users to help learn a variety of applications
Manage revisions and updates to technical literature
Write a produce user interface, documentation, and developer guides
Maintain a library of technical terminology and documentation

Technical Writer Qualifications:

Five years' experience in a technical writer position, ideally with an IT focus
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to create high quality documentation
High attention to detail
High proficiency with MS Office and Adobe
Experience with networking infrastructure
