Digital Content Writer skills:

- Previous proven experience creating content and copy for a range of online mediums including blogs, website, info graphics, online videos, and social media campaigns
- Development of online application from labels, messages, instructions and help
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various team members and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to work within pre-defined processes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various team members and stakeholders
- A strong passion for all things digital is a must
- A personal portfolio and examples of online blogging and content
- Impeccable spelling and grammar
- Strong creative writing, researching and editing skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms, and the uses of social for marketing
- Ability to adapt style and tone of voice to suit a range of different clients and industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise both with colleagues and stakeholders
- Keeps up to date with news and trends in technology and the digital industry
- Experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques
- UX or UI Graphic Design Skills are a strong asset
- Experience with Content Management tools (WordPress, Adobe, etc.)
- Develop content to support marketing programs and campaigns for acquisition, retention and growth
- Responsible for periodic content updates using web publishing tools
- Working closely with our content managers on a number of different writing projects (e.g. blog posts, social media blurbs, e-mail newsletters, corporate guidelines, landing page text, etc.)
- Understand and analyze user needs and business requirements and translate them into desirable, viable and feasible experiences.

Digital Content Writer experience:

- 3-10 years writing digital content, product marketing and customer support content
- 5 years experience blogging to social media platforms
- A media, communications and/or marketing degree or relevant experience

Digital Content Writer nice to haves:

- Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision.
- Familiarity with front-end development.
- Development of content for managed content environment an asset
- UX or UI Graphic Design skills are a strong asset
