Adecco is currently hiring for a Production Supervisor for our client located in Toronto, ON. In order to be considered for this position the successful candidate needs to have at least two years of management experience in a factory based environment. Our client is one of the oldest uniform suppliers in world with locations across the globe servicing over 4 million clients across the country and employ over 30 000 people. The position of Production Supervisor is the first level of management into a large corporation with lots of room for growth.

The compensation package is a base salary range of between $50 000 to $55 000 plus a bonus structure dependent upon performance, 2 weeks’ vacation, RRSP/DPSP contributions, full benefits and continual training to their staff.

The Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ability to manage entry level factory based positions on various shifts while taking care of everything from training and mentoring of staff members to ensuring bottom line results for each shift worked
• Responsible for achieving daily production flow, ensuring compliance with both company and provincial legislations, quality requirements and inventory levels
• Assess any new potential employees – organize and perform all required on job training
• Provide training to new and existing staff members on company safety procedures and OSHA standards and regulations

The Production Supervisor Mandatory Qualifications Include:

• Two years of management experience in a factory based environment and five years of factory based experience
• Ability to work within a fast paced, physical and detailed environment
• Superior organization, prioritization, independent work and time management skills
• Have strong oral and written communication skills as will be spending a good portion of the day training, managing and ensuring production flow
• Strong analysis and stakeholder management experience along with the ability to work with multiple clients both internal and external
• High School Diploma required – 4 year College diploma and/or work experience
• Strong computer skills including working with Microsoft Office
