Account Coordinator


Adecco is currently hiring for an Account Coordinator to join our Onsite Managed Services team in Newmarket, ON.

Working under general supervision, Account Coordinator will work at the client location in managing recruitment and other staffing services. They will ensure client satisfaction is met through the effective supervision and scheduling of temporary associates. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Adecco maintains high levels of associate relations in order to minimize turnover and resolve all employment related issues. We are seeking people who are proactive in initiating the maintenance and improvement of servicequality to the client.

Account Coordinator Responsibilities:

Fills and services client orders efficiently through posting positions, interviewing, testing, checking backgrounds and references, hiring and placing temporary associates.

Identifies qualified associates through this process in order to create an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demand for temporary, temporary to hire, or direct hire opportunities.

Implements recruitment techniques that ensure candidates selected have the skills required to perform the essential functions required in various positions.

Orients temporary associates to relevant client procedures, systems, and work environment as well as to Adecco policies and procedures.

Identifies opportunities for increased or new lines of business with client, promoting Adecco’s products and services whenever possible.

Maintains accurate records and documentation for associates.

Oversees HR functions such as progressive discipline, contract offers/extensions, employee disputes and termination of employment. This includes managing associate attendance, feedback, and performance.

Develops handbooks and written processes for temporary associates. Develops and implements quality management/special awards programs.

Acts as a liaison between the client and Adecco, and provides feedback on temporary associates’ performance to both parties.

Assists in Health and Safety functions including investigations, WSIB reporting and communication as it relates to return to work programs

Account Coordinator Requirements:

Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility
Two years temporary staffing services experience or related experience required

Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
Experience supervising employees
Working knowledge of provincial labour and employment laws an asset
Experience/knowledge of general Human Resources practices an asset.
Must have a flexible schedule
