The overall responsibility of the Account Executive is to maximize sales and the growth of Adecco services through prioritized sales and marketing activities in the area. This position will expand into other areas within South Western Ontario.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with an ability to influence and motivate others. The ability to consistently meet deadlines while effectively managing multiple tasks is critical in this role. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated track record of successful outbound sales, a customer driven approach and who is a strong team player.

Account Executive job functions:

Identifies and develops account prospects utilizing telemarketing, direct mail and other sales techniques to identify potential new clients. Develops and conducts effective sales presentations.

Assists in the development and maintenance of the Adecco brand and awareness through advertising and public relations activities, such as direct mail and promotional programs, job fairs and as a participating member of civic organizations.

Services and continues to develop accounts uncovered by personal sales efforts. Visits client sites to maintain good relations, resolve problems, introduce additional services, etc.

Works closely with Branch Manager and/or Sales Manager to identify new opportunities for sales growth.

Maintains records of all client sales activities and follow-up requirements by utilizing Adecco office technology.

Works with Adecco staff and clients to resolve service issues.

Account Executive requirements:

Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
Three (3) years working experience in a sales/customer service role, preferably in the service industry.
Staffing industry experience a strong asset
Working knowledge of labour and employment laws.
Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and e-mail applications
