Adecco is currently hiring for an Account Manager in Downtown Toronto. To be considered for this Account Manager  role, you must have solid knowledge of insurance and at least 4 years of client relationship management experience. Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the Financial Services Industry. This is a 1- year  contract role and has pay rate $36.00/hour.   

Account Manger Responsibilities:

  •  Manage a significant block of mid to large size clients with primary responsibility for ongoing client satisfaction and retention.
  •  Influence & collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve return, risk and retention targets.
  • Deliver service and support according to customized business agreements
  •  Understand client business needs, strategic objectives and build strong ongoing relationships
  •  Develop a sales pipeline and close opportunities approved by the Account Director.
  •  Identify organic growth opportunities with existing clients.
  • Provide an expert level of problem solving and independent thinking skills, engage with centres of excellence to find win-win solutions for both our client’s, and Manulife.
  • Participate and provide support for regular client meetings, seminars and conferences.
  •  Initiate, support and advance activities that have a strategic focus and are consistent with the long term goals of each client
Account Manager Qualifications:
  • Degree in commerce  or equivalent experience in account management within the financial services industry
  • 4 + years of Client Relationship Management experience
  • Knowledge of insurance (life, health, disability, travel, critical illness)
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills (bilingualism in English and French is an asset)
  • Strong Negotiating and Influencing skills
  • Ability to determine business priorities in frequent periods of high volume
  • Special Condition: Some travel is required for this position
