Adecco is currently hiring for an Account Manager for downtown Toronto. To be considered for this Account Manager position the successful candidate needs to have 4+ years of account management experience with a B2B sales focus.

Our client is a global IT leader, using a SaaS based platform to provide their clients with PR, IR and social media software solutions. This allow clients to interact with their own target market creating better engagement. They operate on a global level, with offices on all major continents.

The compensation package includes a base salary of $65,000 - $70,000 + uncapped commission (e.g. 100% of target achieved = $40,000). 3 weeks (15 days) vacation.

Account Manager Responsibilities:


Be the primary point of contact, acting as a trusted advisor to existing accounts, to retain their custom and ultimately increase business with the customer.
Maintain regular contact with the primary end users throughout the annual contract period.

(Annual reviews, quarterly plans and regular contact with clients will reduce the fall off rate at renewal stage).

Make multiple warm calls and email follow ups daily, along with continuous forecasting and tracking of account metrics.
Mentor/lead multiple account executives (up to 10) when it comes to engagement and renewal of contracts.
Plan strategic client visits to further build the relationship, including presentations and in-depth discussions to understand the needs of the client.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly & quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Attend external regional events to promote services. These may take place outside normal working hours.


Account Manager Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience in technical account management (SaaS preferred).
Candidates with a B2B background preferred.
Proven track record with the long sell using phone, email and in-person. Sales cycle normally lasts up to 3 months.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of social media environment.
Proficient in MS Office plus experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Expert listening, negotiation and presentation skills plus excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
