Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent Accounting Analyst in Whitby, ON. To qualify for this Accounting Analyst role, you must have 5 years’ experience within an accounting role, working knowledge of Sage 50, working experience of COGs (cost of goods sold),  and Pivot Tables through Excel. Our client is looking for an eager individual with the willingness to learn and grow within the company. The salary range for this position is $49,000 - $52,000 annually.

 Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:

 

  • Accounting Assistant and Analyst with knowledge of COGS (cost of goods sold) for heavy inventory-based accounting process
  • Providing support to the Accounting Department
  • Understanding of Point of sale software for retail transactions including multiple merchant credit card transactions
  • Experience with multi-departmental accounting (multiple locations) for amalgamated reports and analysis
  • Performing basic office tasks, data entry, answering phones, and processing mail
  • Pulling data and compiling financial reports using Pivot Tables
  • Backup for payroll processing through Sage 50
  • Processing sales into Sage

 

 

Accounting Assistant Qualifications:

 

  • 5 Years’ experience within an Accounting Role
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 Quantum
  • Excel & Pivot Tables
  • Post-Secondary in Accounting (no designation required)
