Accountant/Bookkeeper| $40K+ - $50K+Full Benefits l Surrey, BC l Permanent

Adecco is seeking for an Accounting Clerk to join a well-established company in Surrey, BC to support the accounting function including payroll. The incumbent will enjoy full covered benefits and an opportunity to work closer to home.


RESPONSIBILTIES:


Perform full0cycle bookkeeping
Prepare payroll. Create and manage payroll time sheets in excel for technicians.
Prepare and match all documents needed to generate customer invoices.
Translate technician worksheets into a customer invoice and price out materials.
Process / Coding, Data entry of AP Invoices and matching of monthly AP statements.
Process credit card payments as well as batch out daily transactions.
Monitor AR reports and retrieve AR aging accounts to review upcoming payments and to prevent overdue accounts.
Calling on outstanding customer invoices and send required clients to Collections Company.
Provide back up for Service call scheduling.
Filing, answering phones and process mail.
Other duties as assigned. i.e. customer service/dispatch


REQUIREMENTS:


3 to 5 years of bookkeeping / Simply Accounting / Quickbooks experience.
Knowledge of full cycle accounting concepts and procedures, as is the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, entering and reviewing financial information.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Multi-tasking and time-management skills while working with daily deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel skills, Word, Outlook).
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
