Do you have accounting experience and are currently seeking your next career step? If ‘yes’, this may be the right opportunity for you! Adecco is partnered with a well-known equipment supplier in Thunder Bay, ON who is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. 

Opportunity: The Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, General Accounting and Administration.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (overtime as needed)

Wage: $20/per hour.

On-site opportunity - no remote work available.


Duties include but are not limited to:

- Verifying, coding, processing and data entry of invoices.

- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counts.

- Reconciling expenses.

- Creating purchase orders.

- Preforming related clerical duties (maintain filing, faxes and photocopies).

- Minimal coverage of phones.


Qualifications needed:

- Post-secondary education related to Accounting/Bookkeeping.

- Minimum 2 years of related Accounting experience.

- Proficient with computers (general use and Microsoft Excel). 

- Experience with Sage 50 or 300 is considered an asset (both Sage and Sirius used on site).

- Commitment to great customer service.
