Accounting Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON (work from home position - GTA)

Adecco Professional is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients in the exciting and busy media industry; please note that this is a remote working position that may require you to be in Toronto from time to time. We are looking for a talented individual to represent Adecco Professional in an ongoing, work from home environment and who are self-driven, eager and number oriented individuals; 6 months to start with potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate. The responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk job opening in Toronto may include, but are not limited to:

  • Update customer profiles in a database
  • Match invoices to PO/Cost Center numbers to ensure accuracy
  • Generate invoice from system to ensure timely submission and error free
  • Liaise with internal clients to understand charges to accounts for clearer understanding
  • Follow up on return invoices and missing or incorrect details
  • Verify data and correct where necessary and reach out to obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Other administrative and clerical support where required
  • Required experience of the Accounting Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON can include:

  • At least 6 months+ experience in a Billings Clerk, Invoicing or directly related capacity
  • Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field an asset 
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with other accounting software, ability to learn new systems with ease
  • Strong math skills; a small assessment will be performed as part of the interviewing process
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Accurate keyboard skills and a proven ability to enter data at the required speed
