Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk, for their downtown Vancouver location. Our client is a busy architectural firm in Canada; they are looking for someone to join their team as an integral role.

Accounting Clerk, Responsibilities:

- Data entry
- Assisting with processing Accounts Payable and Account Receivable
- Assist in recording cash and credit card payments in our customized accounting system
- Typing and proofreading of invoices
- Verify and solve payment discrepancies
- Typing of fee letters
- Prepare deposit for banking
- General filing of receipts and disbursement vouchers
- General Admin tasks and record keeping
- Back-up reception as required (answering phones, sending/receiving couriers, greeting guests etc)

Accounting Clerk, Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong MS office skills, in particular MS Word and Excel
- High level of attention to detail
- Natural ability in math/arithmetic
- Experience in a busy environment
- Ability to multi task
- Team player
- Positive & flexible attitude
