Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Accounting Coordinator for our client, a leading non-for-profit agency located in Belleville, ON. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for Accounting functions including the efficient and accurate preparation and processing of accounts payables and other related tasks.

To qualify for this role, you must have 1-2 years of accounting experience and must be familiar with ACCPAC accounting software.

  • Pay rate: $25.49/hour
  • Location: Belleville, ON
  • Shifts: 8:15 AM-4:30 PM | Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week)

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and processing accounts receivables and accounts payables, reviewing documents and invoices for completeness and accuracy
  • Preparing and processing payroll transactions in addition to coordinating records for individualized funding claims
  • Completing banking and monthly accounting procedures
  • Assisting with year-end activities such as reconciliations, schedules and reports
  • Maintaining petty cash and credit union accounts, and accurate financial records
  • Completing reporting activities using accounting software within specified timelines
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years of experience working in accounting using automated accounting systems and current accounting principles and practices
  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
  • Proficient use and knowledge of accounting software such as ACCPAC and MS Office suite
  • Ability to apply math and accounting principles and practices
  • Demonstrate initiative, work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities with competing work demands
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
