You will need a minimum of 2 years and above dealing with full-cycle Accounts Payable or General Accounting duties preferably in a professional service setting. The responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Administrator job opening in Downtown Toronto, ON will include, but not limited to:

  • Processing cheque payments and posting payables into the Accounting system daily
  • Manage invoice payments by match, batch and coding purchase orders and entering the information into the system
  • Maintaining and ensuring accurate documentation of paper and electronic copies of the invoices and cheque requisitions
  • Preparing cheque runs, bill payments, and electronic wire transfers
  • Running weekly aging and expense reports as needed  
  • Updating daily records in a prompt and time efficient manner
  • Ensures prompt payment of vendor invoices and credit cards, adhering to deadline
  • Acts as a main point of contact for resolving internal and external queries  
  • Undertake other duties as and when requested

  • Completion of post-secondary education in related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable or general Accounting experience preferably in a professional service setting
