ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

Adecco is seeking a Full-Time Accounts Payable Clerk for our Burnaby client.  The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services to the Finance Department.  You have completed college courses in accounting with two (2) + years of Accounts Payable experience in a small to mid-size company.  You have thorough knowledge of accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures and you are  proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. As this role requires frequent external interaction with clients, you have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Duties include:

• Process accounts payable transactions ensuring that company finances are maintained within established time limits

• Data entry of staff expense reports and batch invoices for payment

• Verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services

• Manage the semi-monthly cheque runs

• Respond to all vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements
