Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary full-time Accounts Payable Clerk for our client, a leading company located in Belleville, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, reviewing & verifying invoices and reconciling accounts payable transactions and other related tasks.   • Pay rate: $45K-$50K – depending on experience
  • Location: Belleville, ON
  • Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Monday to Friday 
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary (1-year contract)

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Assembling, reviewing and verifying invoices and checking requests
  • Flagging and clarifying any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
  • Setting invoices up for payment & entering and uploading into system
  • Tracking expenses and processing expense reports
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments
  • Preparing and performing check runs and maintaining vendor files
  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions as well as answering & dispatching service calls
  • Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintaining employee expenses and assisting Owners/Managers/Technicians with various requests
  • Maintaining Health & Safety records and training records
  • Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience an asset
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Business Administration/Booking Keeping/Accounts Payable an asset
  • Experience in the construction field would be an asset
  • Health & Safety experience would be an asset
  • Strong communication skills – written & verbal required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where tasks change quickly
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting and be a self-starter
