Our client is busy innovative solutions firm located who is looking for some immediate, long-term support in the accounting team.  With that, we are on the search to hire for a number of Accounts Payable Clerk job openings in Toronto, ON.  These full-time, 3-6 month+ temporary assignments bring with them opportunity to extend or become something more down the road pending timing, opportunity and fit!  These opportunities are currently hybrid in nature (Mon/Fri work from home, Tuesday through Thursday in office) and will have you working within walking distance to Union Station so both TTC and GO transit accessible.

The job responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform matching, batching and coding of high volume of vendor invoices.
  • Processing invoices to clean up a backlog and keep an updated flow of administration.
  • Responding to and providing high level of customer support to vendor inquiries.
  • Uncover and resolve any discrepancies, escalating where necessary.
  • Weekly cheque runs and EFT processing.
  • High volume of data entry.
  • Maintaining, accurate and up to date tracking, filing and payments of vendor invoices and all relevant documentation.
  • Reconciliations
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • The selected incumbents for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON will meet the following requirements:

  • At least 2+ years recent and direct working experience in an Account Payable position; ideally experienced working with high invoice volumes
  • Previous working experience with NetSuite or SAP (or another ERP accounting system)
  • Meticulous eye for detail, ability to work in a busy, high-volume setting
  • Fast and accurate processing skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written alongside strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to follow direction, work independently and in a team setting.
  • Our client is looking for a number of candidates to join their busy team and offers a very competitive compensation structure of $28/hr plus vacation pay on top of this.
