Our Vancouver client is in immediate need of an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a contract. Your duties as an A/P Clerk will include the following:

Duties:

  • Data Entry
  • Matching PO number to invoice
  • Batch entries
  • Coding
  • Cheque runs
  • Accruals
  • Reconciliations
  • Staff expenses
  • Journal entries
  • Ad-hot duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting experienced
  • Previous experience using ERP system (SAP, Great Plains, JD Edwards)
  • Strong Excel skills (lookup functions, pivot tables, macros)
  • Great written and verbal communications skills
  • Current enrollment in pursue of a designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) is an asset.

This is a position that would start as soon as possible with a rate of pay varying based off of the level of experience.
