Accounts Payable Coordinator

Adecco is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Medical Device Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is a contract opportunity offering full time hours, Monday – Friday. 

Pay : 23- 27/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Process vouchers related to payroll, benefits, AmericanExpress, personnel agencies, government remittances, legal etc
  • Print all accounts payable cheques (CDN$ and  US$), match to invoices, route for approval, distribution and filing of cheques
  • Receive all packing slips from receiving and file.
  • Provide audit support and Maintain the vendor master file uptodate
  • Complete weekly cash flow forecast and Maintain banking files
  • Reimbursement, replenishment and reconciliation of the donor program funds and iscellaneous petty cash box.
  • Completion of accounts receivable invoices as required. 
  • Assure compliance and the integrity of our reporting and analysis and related processes. 
  • Required Skills and Education:

  • Working knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and finance procedures with the ability to interpret and ensure compliance
  • Knowledge of Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax and Canadian Goods and Services Tax
  • Knowledge of QAD and other financial software
  • Excellent communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, self-motivated and takes initiative to solve problems
