You will need a minimum of 2+ years experience dealing with full-cycle Accounts Payable or General Accounting duties preferably in a legal or a professional service setting. This opportunity is a 1-year direct contract with our reputed client. The responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Opening in Downtown Toronto, ON will include, but not limited to:

  • Assists in processing cheque payments and posting payables into the Accounting system on a daily basis.
  • Maintains and ensures accurate documentation of paper and electronic copies of the Invoices and Cheque requisitions alongside running monthly reports.
  • Acts as a main point of contact for resolving internal and external queries.
  • Ensures in maintaining active documentation of office expenses for reimbursements as required by policies.
  • Performs reviews and derives expense reports from firm members alongside issuing re-imbursements through Electronic Fund Transfers to vendors as and when due.
  • Ensures prompt payment of vendor invoices and credit cards, adhering to deadline.
  • Assists in daily recording and maintenance of petty cash and other office supply expenses.
  • Undertake other duties as and when requested.
