Adecco is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our client's busy team! Our Client is a leading provider in electricity in BC, based in Burnaby, Surrey and Downtown Vancouver. This is a great opportunity to work for a well-known, prestigious company, and grow within the business.

The successful candidate will provide confidential and administrative support to an assigned department and be able to assist in labor relations matters.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

  • Provide support to a department by performing duties such as; typing correspondence, reports, presentations.
  • Reception; filing, answering phones, photocopying, mail.
  • Under direction, perform a variety of routine and nonroutine duties related to the functioning of the department such as ordering supplies, making travel arrangements, scheduling appointments, gathering information, processing staff reports, reviewing material for completeness.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer software applications such as word processing, basic spreadsheets, presentation/graphics.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to internal and external enquiries.
  • Communication skills sufficient to perform reception duties
Typical Experience; Training; Education (or Equivalents):
  • Basic courses in office practices and computer software applications.
  • May have previous office experience but would be able to perform the job independently with up to 6 months on the job experience.
