ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT | RICHMOND | $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Assignment Type: Full-Time

Assignment Length: 12 Weeks

Pay: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr (depending on experience)

Location: Richmond (Transit accessible)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.00am – 4.30pm

 

Our client is a successful roofing contractor in the construction industry. They are looking for a Fron Office/Administration/Operations Assistant to join their fast-paced, dynamic and hard-working office. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their career within a successful company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails within a timely and professional manner;
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital file & storage systems;
  • Complete clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning etc.;
  • Process data for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
  • Organize documents and service files;
  • Follow up phone calls for data, Purchase Order’s, Accounts Receivable and/or other information;
  • Liaise with Head Office in Toronto on a daily basis;
  • Communicate with visitors, clients, construction workers and management team;
  • Run errands;
  • Other general office tasks as required.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Bookkeeping experience in AP/AR/PO’s is essential;
  • Familiarity with some form of accounting package, e.g Sage;
  • Positive, friendly, outgoing personality with a strong work ethic;
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong Organizational skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively;
  • Good Microsoft Office skills;
  • Confident with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Able to hit the ground running with minimum supervision.
