Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant, to work a 1-year contract, for our client, a Canadian-based energy company, in Calgary, AB. This role requires 3-5 years of administrative experience with added exposure to assisting at the executive level. In this role, you will be working closely with the VP and E&R teams.   • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior administrative support to the VP and team
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities to provide effective and efficient service
  • Accurate preparation and/or coordination of memos, Powerpoint presentations, and other written communication in accordance with the company writing guide
  • Support the document storage process and SharePoint sites used by the E&R team
  • Implement technology and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure we are maximizing our efficiencies and business processes
  • Manage calendars, arrange meetings and requirements
  • Process expense statements and invoices for payment
  • Coordinate event planning and team activities
  • Maintain office supplies inventory
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, in the area the E&R teamwork
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • 3-5 years of administrative support, with experience supporting at the executive level
  • High proficiency with MS Office suite and SharePoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for success
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed
  • Ability to conduct research and create reports or presentations
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
