Adecco is currently recruiting for a full time permanent Administrative Assistant job in Edmonton, AB. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing general office/clerical and administrative along with some basic bookkeeping support to a team of office professionals as well as the general public as our client is a service provider in a sensitive industry. They are offering an hourly wage of $23.00 and seeking an office professional to join their west Edmonton branch as soon as possible.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide full cycle administrative/office support to your team including answering the phone, greeting visitors, taking messages, transferring calls, etc.
Type letters and general correspondence as required
Provide some basic accounting support in accounts receivable, bank deposits, applying payments to contracts, etc.
Filing, faxing, photocopying as required

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of related work experience
You will have strong computer skills in MSOffice and the ability to learn new software packages
Professional presentation with strong customer service skills
Previous experience with basic bookkeeping is an asset
Calm and compassionate demeanor who like working with people
Self motivated and career minded
A team player who is positive, friendly and approachable
