Adecco is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our respected client, a member of the Assembly of First Nations located in Gold River, BC. In this permanent role, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and overseeing the funding process from government agencies.   • Relocation Assistance: Available for candidates not currently residing in Gold River, BC
  • Accommodation: Three months' accommodation is provided
Duties and Responsibilities:        
  • Oversee the administrative process for securing funding from government agencies.
  • Provide administrative support for health programs servicing the community.
  • Execute tasks assigned by the Health and Social Services Manager promptly.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive customer service approach.
  • Greet community members warmly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
  • Support various administrative coordination and communication tasks, including client intake and interdepartmental communications.
Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Preference given to candidates with experience working with First Nations.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in administrative support in health or government settings.
  • Deep understanding of government funding processes and health management in a First Nation context.
  • Proficient in computer applications and office equipment.
  • Team player with an approachable and positive demeanor.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills.
  • Interest in professional growth and development within the Health team.
  • Clear criminal record check
  • Access to a vehicle is an asset for transportation to this remote community.
  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
