  • Salary: $42-56K annually, commensurate on experience; benefits and other added perks
  • Location: Halifax, NS
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 9 AM-5 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and calendar management for the teams and leaders
  • Expense reporting and processing
  • Travel arrangements and related logistics
  • Organize and attend meetings; prepare agenda, take notes and ensure follow up report is completed and shared
  • Prepare, run and edit various reports, invoices and other documents in a detailed and timely manner
  • Database updating and documenting; filling, scanning and other related tasks
  • Reconciling of reports and documents to ensure updated information is at hand
  • Provide phone support; liaise with internal teams, vendors and clients in a professional presentation
  • Conduct mass mailings using mail merge when required
  • Assist with events when needed; this can include various function to ensure all areas are covered
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of Administrative Assistant experience from a corporate environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced strengths in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (there will be testing on these): quick and accurate typing skills
  • High level organizational skills and attention to detail; exceptional follow-up/follow through skills
  • Strong prioritization, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple demands
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills
  • High level of discretion with confidential matters
  • Full vaccination is required.
