Adecco is urgently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant job opening in Markham, ON for one of our clients. This full-time temporary need would have you joining a team of busy professionals and helping with various administrative support and coordinator tasks.  The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of direct Administrative Assistant experience and a level of confidence to take initiative and the ability to help the team drive forward in an organized and efficient manner.

Some of the responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant job opening in Markham, ON include, but are not limited to:  

  • Provide administrative support to a Director and 2 Managers along with added support to the team
  • Scheduling and booking appointments in the calendar; ensuring they are on time and prepared
  • Meeting preparation including logistical coordination, catering, equipment etc.
  • Expense report processing
  • Creating and ensuring communications are directed to all team members and related stakeholders
  • Keep track of purchasing and POs to keep in line with the budget; reporting
  • Assist/create reports, presentations, documents, contracts etc.
  • Help coordinate new employee setup and onboarding when required
  • Other administrative and/or clerical tasks as required
  • Some of the qualifications for the Administrative Assistant job opening in Markham, ON may include but are not limited to:

  • At least 5 years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Post-secondary education Administration or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Quick and interested in learning
  • Ability to multi-task, organized and detail oriented
  • Highly technical in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with SAP a strong asset
  • Confidence and interest in learning new systems
  • Flexible, professional and positive!
