Administrative Assistant

 

Adecco is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant to join their client’s team located in Carp, ON, for a 1-year maternity leave contract.  To be considered for this position, you must have 2+ years of working in an administrative assistant support role, demonstrated experience editing and formatting documents and experience in supporting multiple individuals at the same time.

 

The hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.  As mentioned, this is a 1-year maternity contract position however, while on this contract, you may have the opportunity to try out different roles within the company which can potentially lead to permanent opportunity with them. The rate of pay for this position is $18/hr  and the role is expected to start at the end of November/beginning of December.

 

Our client is a staple in the Electrical contracting industry and has been around since 1978 and is still growing! They are known as an industry leader and they pride themselves on being highly mobile and able to respond rapidly to their customers’ needs. 

 

Administrative Assistant Summary

 

The Administrative Assistant position is to assist with clerical tasks as well as assist staff and management to deliver on their obligations and their daily tasks This position is responsible for managing the day to day operations and to engage with the core team within the office and the on-site electricians. Must be comfortable answering multiple phone lines (up to 10) consistently throughout shift.

 

 

Administrative Assistant Requirements Include:
 

  • Minimum of 2 years in an administrative assistant support role
  • Experience in supporting multiple individuals is a strong asset
  • Excellent, strong proven customer service experience
  • Strong knowledge of in MS Office Applications (Specifically Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great attendance and punctual
  • Self-motivated individual who is also reliable and trust-worthy, has a positive attitude and is a great team-player.
