Adecco is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant for our Medical Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is a 1 year contract opportunity offering full time hours, Monday – Friday. The salary for this position will be determined based on education and experience.

To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to one or more managers or directors as assigned.
  • May provide back up support to higher-level management, as needed.
  • Act as link between senior management and staff, outside agencies and the public.
  • Calendar management, travel arrangements and expense and processing of expense reports for management.
  • Responsibilities include all administrative functions of the department(s); answering and screening calls, managing correspondence and scheduling couriers, responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments and arranging meetings, planning events, creating or modifying business documents, preparing presentations from source materials, handling teleconference set ups, acting as a liaison for remote access issues.
  • Coordinates and maintains departmental files in compliance with corporate and government regulations.
  • May include support for tracing and/or tracking budget expenditures.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.
  • Administrative Assistant Requirements:

  • College Diploma in Office Administration or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge and understanding of business processes and requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle confidential or business-sensitive information.
  • Proficient with MS Office
