Administrative Assistant

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for our crown corporation client in Ottawa, ON. This is a 6-month contract with possibility of extension/permanance, with our Client located in Ottawa, ON with a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate be eligible for a Reliability level security clearance.
The Administrative Assistant will have the following responsibilities: 
•Providing administrative support to the Program including scheduling, logistics, minute taking and associated correspondence for education related committees;
•Schedule and coordinate other educational and related activities (e.g., research days, academic half days, resident wellness activities, retreats);
•Manage electronic files;
•Liaise with stakeholder organizations;
•Schedule meetings on virtual tools (Outlook, Zoom);
•Filing and tracking various projects and records using excel;
•Transcribe meetings / notes;
•Other duties as required.

The Administrative Assistant must meet the following mandatory requirements: 
•Diploma in Office Administration OR other combination of education and experience, along with demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position
•Minimum 1year of recent related Administration experience
•Knowledge and experience with postgraduate and undergraduate training programs (Preferred)
•Advanced knowledge of computers, including MS Office 365, electronic mail.
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Superior organizational skills.  Able to take initiative, to meet deadlines, be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
•Experience with Zoom, outlook and excel would be considered an asset;
