Adecco is currently hiring a full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant in Richmond, BC. This is an entry level position and is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their career within a large, global and successful company.

To be considered for this Administrative Assistant position the successful candidate must possess 1-2 years administration experience along with excellent communication, time management and organization skill. The position is based in an office located within our client’s warehouse. 


Administrative Assistant Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures;
  • Handle all phone calls, mail, e-mails, and deliveries in a professional manner adhering to the needs of both customers and clients;
  • Regularly update documents, spreadsheets and other master documents;
  • Administer Account Payables insuring invoices and packing slips are accurate
  • Assist with record keeping, payroll vacation scheduling and documentation for newly hired employees;
  • Expedite purchase orders;
  • Prepare and reconcile bank deposits & Petty Cash;
  • Report reconciliations;
  • Other duties as required.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Fluent in the English language with an additional language considered an asset;
  • Strong time management, organization, attention to detail; 
  • Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Self-motivated and versatile with the ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
