Adecco is currently recruiting for a temporary to permanent Administrative Assistant, to work full-time hours for our client, a well-established law firm, located in Vancouver, BC.   • Pay rate: $22-$26/hour based on experience
  • Location: Vancouver, BC
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM- 4:30 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule meetings/ appointments
  • Plan and take detailed minutes at meetings
  • Prepare and generate regularly scheduled reports
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Develop and monitor a filing system
  • Scan, copy and put away files
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Answer questions for any visitors to the office
  • Act as a liaison for both external and internal contacts
  • Maintain company contact lists
  • Liaise with executive and senior admin assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • High School degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Knowledge of office procedures and systems
  • Working knowledge of printers, fax machines, and other office equipment
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Must pay close attention to details in all areas of work
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
