Adecco is currently hiring Administrative Coordinators for our premier client in Durham Region.
As a Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible to:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative support for mid to senior leaders and their departments, utilizing new technologies to deliver efficient processes in such areas as correspondence, meeting arrangements/scheduling, time management, information maintenance and general office support.
  • Produce and process correspondence covering a broad array of documents and confidential subject matter including reports, statistical data, submissions for approval of budgets, human resource materials.
  • Make all necessary arrangements for meetings including the preparation of agenda, arranging of meeting rooms, ensure set up for audio-visual or other equipment, preparing and issuing meeting notices.
  • Make all necessary travel and accommodation arrangements following appropriate travel policies, including obtaining appropriate approvals for out of province and out of country travel.
  • Review and proofread documentation (time reports, expense reports) for conformity to all governing requirements (policies, collective agreements, human resources policies and procedures) for accuracy.
  • Pay rate: $27/hour
  • Location: Oshawa, Whitby, Courtice, Bowmanville
  • Availability Required: Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm
  • Job type: Direct Hire – 1 Year Contract
  • Requirements:

  • 3+ years of administrative experience supporting multiple managers at a time in a broad range of office functions.
  • 1+ years of post-secondary education/equivalent experience in Administration
  • Advanced Software proficiency in; Word, Excel PowerPoint
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Outlook and Office 365 suite of applications including: One Drive, One Note, MS Teams
  • Must be able to work onsite as this is a Non-Remote role
  • Ability to type 40 accurate WPM
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A certificate or diploma in Office Administration or Executive Administration is an asset
  • Reliable transportation to commute between Pickering - Bowmanville
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be open to additional security clearances
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
