Adecco is currently recruiting for a Administrative Support Coordinator for a 1-year contract (start january 2023). Our client is located in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it. The role is a hybrid (Remote/Onsite).

The Administrative Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day installation and commissioning activities of an equipment supplier to deliver a new parcel sortation system
  • Supervise multiple other contractors and resources who are required to deliver other scope elements of the project in order for the new sortation system to be delivered as per schedule;
  • Be the primary point of contact for the equipment supplier, and other suppliers and contractors, addressing their concerns and issues as required to keep the project moving ahead on-schedule;
  • Establish and manage projects schedules and deliverables, track progress against schedule and report variances;
  • Prepare and communicate project status reports, identifying activity progress, key issues and risks, schedule and cost tracking;
  • The Administrative Coordinator must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, management or a related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting a range of mid- size initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality;
  • 1-2 years developing high level reports, scheduling and contractor timelines;
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools;
  • Bilingualism in both French and English would be considered an asset.
