Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Administrative Technician, to work a one-year contract at a well-established integrated oil and natural gas company, in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the managers of Facility & Pipeline Projects, Projects & Discipline Engineering and Automation, you will be responsible for technical and administrative duties that fall within the manager’s area of the business. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing and maintaining various programs within the team’s scope.
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and Pay invoices related to radio licenses with Industry Canada
Manage Modem inventory including ordering and configuration of devices
Manage and Pay Software licenses related to Automation
Perform regular measurement data entry and management of documentation
Assist in HMI administration and standardization related to SCADA apps with direction from the Manager
Maintain and administer the digital construction binder process and assist engineers to complete the packages and send them digitally to the field. Update and adapt the process to fit the business needs
Manage the Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) process; receive and file digital construction QA/QC according to retention record requirements, audit for completeness
Maintain equipment tracking sheets (Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Ready to Ship dates, etc.)
Coordinate, and facilitate various meetings (such as vendor meetings, After Action Reviews, etc.), and issue meeting minutes
Create presentations for stakeholders
Maintain a culture of fun by arranging team-building activities, celebrations, and events
Perform other duties as assigned by the Managers
Requirements and Qualifications:
2+ years of office work experience would be an asset
Highly proficient in all other Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
High resilience and adaptability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong business acumen and ability to demonstrate the same in day-to-day activities
A Highly organized strategic planner who is able to create, implement and improve organizational systems, both digital and physical files
Demonstrated project management skills
Able to work proactively with a solution-oriented mindset and a can-do attitude
Should have impeccable attention to detail with a consistent desire to go above and beyond in all capacities
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
