Adecco is currently looking for a full time Assembler for the day &  afternoon shift at a state-of-the-art plant in Brampton. To qualify for this role, the assembler must possess an experience of working with hand & power tools, doing assemblies and can read blueprints properly. This is a great opportunity for someone who can commit to work for 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
  •  Assist in the building of prototypes and/or other basic assembly projects outside of normal production as needed
  •  Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  •  Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Contribute to team effort by training others in performance of basic assembly tasks as needed
  •  Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements prior to passing it on to the next operation
  •  Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Cleaning own work area and other responsibilities assigned Skills Required
  • Comfortable with small hand and power tools
  • Comfortable in reading and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
  • Apt with basic computer skills
  •  Comfortable with 40lbs lifting
