Assembler

Adecco is currently hiring for temporary, full-time Assemblers in Hamilton, ON to work for our client, a global manufacturer in lighting and electronic products. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling products in the designated manufacturing area. This could include but is not limited to Electronics, Lighting, Wiring, SMT or Populating/Soldering areas.

  • Pay rate: $17/Hour

  • Ensure materials are organized and placed for optimal production usage
  • Assemble products according to work instructions and control plans
  • Ensure that required documentation is complete
  • Maintain rate, speed, and quality to ensure efficiency and productivity targets are met
  • Ensure the proper us of reject and re-work bins
  • Return items and tools to appropriate area at completion of use or at the end of the shift
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace throughout and after the shift
  • Report production or product issues to Team Leaders as required
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive walking, sitting, and standing throughout the shift
  • Good oral and written communication skills
