Assembly Line Operator

Adecco is currently hiring for temporary, full-time Assembly Line Operators to work the night shifts at our client, a global personal care products manufacturer located in Burlington, ON. In this role, you will be working on a high-speed line and oversee aspects of the production process to ensure efficiency and accuracy of work.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience on a high speed line and prior experience in the pharmaceutical, health and beauty or chemical industry is highly desirable.

  • Salary: $22/hour + $1 premium
  • Location: Burlington, ON
  • Shift: Nights 11:00pm-7:15am

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the fill levels and speed of production lines
  • Keep the line running and adjust fill levels as needed
  • Communicate issues to the Team Leaders if line servicing or a tote change is required
  • Check bottles in hopper to ensure proper bottle is issued and that no low fills go to the packing table
  • Check for damaged bottles and bad print
  • Follow all company SOPs and Good Manufacturing Process
  • Oversee all functions of the control panel
  • Operate line in accordance with all company health and safety rules
  • Responsible for capping all bottles on conveyor from filler and tighten all loose caps
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience on a high-speed production line filling liquids in the pharmaceutical, health and beauty or chemical industry 
  • Secondary High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
  • Some flexibility may be required for overtime shifts
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work in a multi-cultural atmosphere and group setting
