We are currently seeking several Assembly Operators to join the team on both the day and overnight shifts. The Assembly Operators will be responsible for working in a regulated medical manufacturing facility in Ottawa’s west end. This is a contract expected to go for 12-months but has the capacity to be extended. This opportunity is offering full-time hours wherein you would be working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities for Assembly Operator:

-Boxing product as it comes off fast-paced automated assembly line
-Conducting quality inspections on product
-Maintaining high quality work while performing repetitive tasks on the line
-Understands and complies with Quality and EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines
-Facilitates a safe and healthy workplace culture
-Other miscellaneous duties as may be required

Requirements for Assembly Operator:

-Successfully completed High School is essential
-Exceptional hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and capable of high-volume repetitive tasks
-Demonstrated mechanical aptitude would be a definite asset
-Previous experience to a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred (FDA, etc.)
-Demonstrate initiative and can work independently
Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications (both verbal and written)
Ability to understand instructions, quickly retain knowledge, and have a keen willingness to learn
