Adecco is currently hiring for temporary, full-time Assembly Technician for our client, an established company manufacturing company.This position requires someone wit hand soldering experience. Get your foot in the door with our client who values employee growth and has a friendly work environment.

  • Pay rate: $18.00/hour
  • Location: Ottawa, ON
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

    • Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical assembly of prefabricated parts to form subassemblies
  • Final assembly, consisting of various subassemblies
  • Cutting, and trimming, of metal, and plastic parts
  • Fasten parts using a variety of adhesives and fasteners
  • Read and apply work instructions and drawings to meet specified requirements
  • Use barcode scanner, and computer for records keeping, and office communications
  • Packing products for shipments

    • Requirements: 

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Team Lift up to 77 pounds
  • 1-2 years of general assembly experience
  • Basic understanding of fastener types and drive heads
  • Knowledge of various adhesives and adhesive applications
  • Use of basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, torque drivers, drill, etc.)
  • Basic computer and internet skills (e-mail, spreadsheets, google drive)
  • Good verbal and written communications
  • Ability to follow work instruction documents and perform simple test and program of products
  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve company goals
  • Capable of working well in a team environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Handsoldering experience
