Our well-established stock transfer client located in the heart of downtown Vancouver is looking for an Associate Relationship Manager for a maternity leave contract. For the right person this role could go into something permanent as the company continues to grow.

You will need that drive to grow and hit the ground running with the support of a great team. An interest and knowledge of data analytics and problem solving along with a brokerage background is required.   • Dealing with account holders or their representatives to answer questions regarding details of the account operation.
  • Initiating and following-up with asset transfers from other institutions.
  • Processing wire and EFT payments to 3rd parties as required.
  • Reviewing and processing estate settlements.
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the accounts.
  • Reviewing internal DOPs to ensure risks are mitigated or managed.
  • Preparing internal and external reports as needed by clients or management.
  • Staying current with governing legislation to ensure proper operation of the registered products.
  • Ensuring that account assets (cash and securities) are accurately recorded and allocated to the correct account.


  • Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in a financial services or broker/dealer environment with direct experience in account transfers or registered plan administration (RRSPs, RRIFs, RESPs, TFSAs, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of locked-in products and legislation.
  • Undergraduate degree with working knowledge of investment industry and related products, completion of the Canadian Securities Course would be an asset.
  • A driven self starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to manage expectations and conflicts with clients.
  • Resolution of escalations at both an administrative and management level.
  • Responsive with a priority focus on customer service.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency with Excel, Outlook and MS Word.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with experience interacting in a financial or investment dealer environment, demonstrated success proactively identifying and resolving client issues and managing client expectations, while continually increasing client loyalty and overall client satisfaction.
