Automation/Controls Engineer
Adecco’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation/Controls Engineer in Kingston, Ontario to join their team on their operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and control systems, as well as experience working in the mining industry.
Automation/Controls Engineer Responsibilities Are:
Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for manufacturing operations.
Provide technical support for automation and control systems.
Develop and implement control strategies for mining equipment.
Write software programs for automated control systems.
Develop and maintain electrical and control schematics.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology advancements in automation and control systems.
Automation/Controls Engineer Qualifications Are:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in automation and control systems.
Strong background in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI design.
Familiarity with large plant and manufacturing industry equipment and processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
